Environmental Compliance
Companies relying heavily on IT equipment to perform daily tasks are faced with the dilemma of how to properly dispose of them at the end of their life cycle. It is no longer acceptable to simply send used/obsolete IT equipment to local landfills or to third party IT vendors. It is imperative that companies find proper methods of disposing used/obsolete IT equipment. Risk of non-compliance with legal, environmental and social rules can be severe. One mistake, intentional or unintentional, can impact a company’s image that has taken years to build as well as placing a significant financial burden on the company.
